Google Business Profile
Put accurate business information in front of local customers.
For a lot of local businesses the profile gets seen far more often than the website. It is also the thing most likely to be quietly wrong — hours from two years ago, a category that was never right, a website link to a page that no longer exists.
- What it coversProfile review, authorized corrections, photo management and monitoring for unexpected edits.
- What it is notNo promised map-pack placement, verification or reinstatement. Google decides all three.
- Who owns itYou stay the primary owner. We work as a manager through access you grant and can remove.
The problem this solves
The listing drifts, and nobody notices.
Profiles decay. Hours change at a holiday and never change back. A service gets added to the business but not the listing. Somebody suggests an edit and Google applies it. The owner finds out when a customer arrives at a closed door.
This service is somebody checking, correcting and keeping a record — using access you grant, with your approval on the changes that matter.

Scope
Authorized changes, recorded.
Which changes we can make without asking, and which always need your sign-off, are agreed at the start. Nothing about your business gets published on a guess.
Included
- A review of the profile as it stands: categories, services, hours, attributes, description, contact details and the website link.
- Correcting the details that are wrong or missing, with your approval, through manager access you grant.
- Keeping the profile and your website consistent, so the same business is described the same way in both places.
- Photo management: uploading images you own or authorise, organised sensibly rather than dumped.
- Monitoring for unexpected changes — Google and the public can both suggest edits, and they are not always right.
- Assistance with verification and with reinstatement requests if a profile is suspended.
Outside our control, or declined
- No guarantee of map-pack placement. Local ranking is Google’s, influenced by factors including proximity that nobody can change.
- We do not promise verification or reinstatement as a guaranteed outcome. We prepare and submit properly; Google decides.
- Creating a profile at an address you do not legitimately operate from, or listing a service area you do not serve.
- Adding fake categories, keyword-stuffed business names, or other practices that risk suspension.
- Taking ownership of your profile. You stay the primary owner throughout.
Independence
Plainly stated.
Google Business Profile is a free Google product. Innovative Agency is an independent business and is not affiliated with, partnered with or endorsed by Google. Our fees cover our professional services only.
Verification, suspension and reinstatement decisions are made by Google under its own policies. We can prepare a request properly and tell you what we think is likely. We cannot promise an outcome, and we will not take a fee on the basis that we can.
Does managing the profile cost money to Google?
No. A Google Business Profile is free. Our fee is for the professional service of managing it — the review, the corrections, the monitoring and the ongoing work.
Are you part of Google?
No. We are an independent agency and have no affiliation with or endorsement from Google. Any agency implying otherwise is misrepresenting itself.
Who owns the profile?
You do, and we would decline an arrangement where you did not. We work as a manager on a profile you own, and you can remove that access at any time.
Our profile was suspended. Can you fix it?
We can help you understand the likely cause, correct what is non-compliant and prepare a reinstatement request. Whether it is reinstated is Google’s decision, and we will not promise an outcome we do not control.
Can you manage several locations?
Yes, where each location is a legitimate business presence. The scope and cadence are agreed per location rather than bundled.
Often scoped together
What usually sits alongside this.
The profile, the reviews on it and the website it links to are one presence; these pages cover the rest of it.
- Reviews & Google Posts — Plan updates and prepare thoughtful review responses with your approvals built in.
- SEO — Improve site structure, service information and the paths customers use to reach you.
- Markets we serve — where this work is delivered today, and how remote management actually runs.
- Contact — describe the business and we will say where we would start.
