SEO

Useful improvements. A stronger search foundation.

Search visibility usually improves for unglamorous reasons: the site can be crawled, the pages say what the business does, and the important services are easy to reach. That is the work.

Illustration of a search lens over an organised page of information.
  • What it coversTechnical review, page hierarchy, internal linking and service content written for people first.
  • What it is notNo guaranteed positions, no bought links and no near-identical location pages.
  • How it is measuredYour own Search Console and analytics, reported against a baseline recorded before the work starts.

The problem this solves

The site does not explain the business.

A lot of small-business sites were built around a layout rather than around what customers search for. Services are buried in a paragraph, the page titles all say the company name, and the pages that should rank are competing with three near-duplicates.

Fixing that is not a trick. It is structure, clarity and follow-through — and it is measurable in your own data.

Scope

Where the effort goes.

Audit depth, how much content is produced and who implements the changes are agreed in writing before work starts.

Included in an SEO scope

  • A technical review of the site as it exists: indexability, crawl errors, redirects, duplicate pages, page titles and descriptions, heading structure and page speed signals we can actually measure.
  • Page hierarchy and internal linking, so your most important services are not three clicks from anywhere and are not competing with each other.
  • Service content: pages that answer the question a customer is actually asking, written for people first and marked up correctly.
  • Local relevance: consistent business information, location-appropriate content where it is truthful, and alignment with your Google Business Profile.
  • Monitoring against your own Search Console and analytics data, reported on an agreed cadence.

What we will not do

  • No guaranteed positions. Nobody can sell you a ranking, because nobody outside Google decides one.
  • Attributing every traffic change to agency work. Seasonality, competitors, algorithm updates and your own offline activity all move these numbers.
  • Hundreds of near-identical location pages. They are an obvious pattern, they read badly, and they are not a foundation.
  • Bought links or link schemes of any kind.
  • A content mill of generated filler articles posted to hit a monthly quota.

Sequence

Baseline first. Then the work.

  1. 01

    Baseline

Confirm analytics and Search Console are connected and collecting. Record where things actually stand today.

  2. 02

    Review

Technical crawl, page structure, content coverage and the gap between what you sell and what the site says.

  3. 03

    Implement

Fixes and content in priority order, with human review. Each change is recorded against the date it went live.

  4. 04

    Monitor

Report against the baseline on the agreed cadence and adjust what gets attention next.

Questions

The ones worth asking any SEO.

Can you guarantee a first-page position?

No, and we would be careful with anyone who does. We can tell you what is currently holding a site back, fix what is fixable, and show you what moved in your own data.

How long before anything changes?

Technical fixes can be reflected within weeks. Content and authority work is slower and depends on your market. We would rather set a realistic expectation at the start than explain a missed promise later.

What if our analytics have never been set up properly?

That is common, and it is the first thing we look at. Without a baseline, nobody can tell whether anything improved. Getting measurement working correctly is part of the early work, not an upsell.

Do you implement the changes, or just send a report?

We would rather implement. An audit that nobody actions is wasted money. Where we do not hold access, we provide the specific change and work with whoever does.

How does this relate to the AI search work?

They overlap heavily and share the same foundation: clear, crawlable, accurate content. The AI search optimization page explains what is genuinely different about it.

Often scoped together

The same foundation supports all three. Where one ends and the next begins is set out on each page.

  • AI search optimization — Clear business facts, useful answers and structured content for an evolving search landscape.
  • Website maintenance — Planned website updates, content changes and functional checks within a clear scope.
  • Google Business Profile — Authorized profile updates that connect your services, website and business information.
  • Markets we serve — where this work is delivered today, and how remote management actually runs.
  • Contact — describe the business and we will say where we would start.
